Scrambling. To be honest, I didn't think the thread would get this far without that coming up. This is Calgary, after all.

Christ when I think about what I do for fun...my life is pretty boring haha. When I have the time it's hockey, then baseball, then football (either kind)...fishing, camping, golfing, internet surfing and video games. I haven't been to the library in ages and I'm getting sick of reading the same 60 books over and over again so alas, reading has fallen to pretty much the bottom of the list.

Windsurfing - you get speed, air time, surfing, carving and planing. Damn hard to learn though.

CP and watching TV shows

I see a lot of replies that arn't really "winding down" at the end of a day, or kicking back on weekends... a lot of replies are "what are your hobbies"... just sayin.

Yeah for winding down activities it is definitely killing Nazis (COD2), reading X-Men comics, watching South Park (I now have 105 episodes on my PVR) and watching the Daily Show and the Colbert Report.

I'm not a very sporting guy anymore. I should be but I honestly don't know how I'd be part of any organized sports teams with how busy I am in Uni.

I also really like sparking a joint and playing big 2 (card game) with my friends.

I took on a pretty heavy coarse workload, and still played soccer 5 hrs a week (2 hrs competitive league, 3 hrs rec pick-up game) and went indoor rock climbing 6 hrs a week.

Since its summer, I'm making the best out of being unemployed and I play soccer 8-10 hrs a week, go indoor rock climbing apperently 15 hrs a week now, and outdoor I do about 5 hrs a week.

I'd like to get back into squash and hockey, but squash doesn't seem that popular here and I don't know where I can find any pickup hockey games. I keep saying I'm getting into white water rafting sometime this summer, I should set myself a deadline or something.

5hrs a week is pretty reasonable actually.

Ok I'm just lazy. That and I have 3 spring and 3 summer courses this year so I'm pretty much balls to the wall the entire summer.

A giant glass of wine or 3, whilst watching PVR'd shows, or a glass of wine or 3 whilst having dinner with friends.
Either way, wine is the wind down, and is a necessity.
