Who cares if the show isn't "realistic" enough? This is television for gods sake. Watch National Geographic or the Discovery channel if you want realistic programs.
For mindless TV shows, Entourage is near the top of my list. It's very entertaining and that's all that I'm looking for.

Hmmm i do find it weird that entourage is still running but the series ROME was canceled after 2 seasons. It won many awards and had a lot of viewers from what i have read. I just rented both seasons while i was sick and watched them . They were very good.... hmmm
I do like entourage though .... of course i havent finished season 5 yet..
Rome being cancelled had more to do with the expensive sets burning down no?

I dont understand the "its too formulaic" argument. Every show is formulaic. That's how tv works. You find a formula that appeals to your target audience and if they like it you rinse and repeat. All the actors seem to think its a pretty good representation of how Hollywood actually works. Of course Vince is a pretty exaggerated character but he has to be.
Also I rather enjoyed season 5. I thought it was the one season that stepped out of the formula because instead of the "Vince is a big movie star and does things his own way and doesnt care" theyt actually started doing things Ari's way and Vince finally got to show some emotion rather than the "everything will be ok" shtick he had going on. I also think season 5 was more centered around Ari and his attemps to help Vince rather than Vince's troubles. And more Ari is always a good thing.

Agreed. I also like how Johnny Drama's becoming more of a central character too. Can never get too much Drama!
Put me in the camp of never missed an episode and is super stoked for the premiere on Sunday. I also liked Season 5 as it showed Vince struggling like crazy and we saw a different side of Vince. I just wish they would have kept the "Vince firing Eric"(SPOILER IN WHITE) angle alive. That could have been interesting.
I hate the argument of the show not being realistic. Is that really a big deal?? It's light, fun comedy. It doesn't try to be anything more. Great characters, awesome one liners, hot chicks and great music. Thumbs up all around. I wish they would do this show for another ten years. I love it.
Reason alone to watch the show....my favorite all time television line.
I really don't find that video funny at all. Maybe the creators should watch more than a couple episodes or christ, realize that the central character is an actor in Hollywood and that's what they go thru. They don't get every role they want right away.
Anyone around these parts know if you can pay online somewhere to watch this? Knew this would come back to haunt me when I downgraded my cable package!

Agreed, the Deus Ex Machina kinda of bugged me. But hey, its Entourage not Citizen Kane.
Anyways I'm uber stoked for tonight. I think E and I are long lost twins.

Wow, it is actually on HBO Canada. I didn't think we were getting it for months later, I check the tv after watching Top Gear on my computer and it is on!!
My only complaint is there is constant audio drop outs. DAMN YOU SHAW!!
