Too many valid topics are getting ruined by the constant p*ssing match between Calgary and Edmonton. Do we need a seperate board for those useless conversations?

Embarassed? Just another pro team to add to Calgary's portfolio. Just another option people have to be entertained. Just another Champion. Just another thing to put Calgary a bit more in the spotlight. Lacross may not be big, but 9 other teams in the NLL know of Calgary, and surly the all-star game will give them a bit of a spotlight on national TV. Just another bonus to Calgary.

Hey, if we get a team, it's good for the people that might like it and watch it.

I personally don't think I'll be wasting my time for a league where music is played during the game. What kind of league plays music?!?!?

The average player makes $8,000....not much, not much at all.

I would go watch if tickets were cheap. But that article is right about Edmontonians taking their sports too seriously. Maybe because we've been fed championships with a silver spoon and totally spoiled. Which is why I expect the CrackerHeads to be a failure. I always thought lacrosse was fast, intense, and exciting. And now that the NHL is in limbo and the future of the Oilers is questionable, its time to strike while the irons hot.
