Was your girlfriend sitting in the passenger seat? How the heck did she not have leg injuries? Wow. Those pictures look totally scary. Thank goodness you're both OK, that's amazing.

Man thats crazy. Glad to hear that you're okay. Back in 2002 I was coming home from the last Flames game of the season in 2002 and decapatated one of them on Hi-way 2 by Innisfail. I was lucky as the only part of the animal I hit was the head and I was driving a bigger vehichle in a 2001 X-Terra. Ever since I haven't really been particularly crazy about driving too much at night.
My Dad had a 1981 Buick LeSabre that racked up about 7 deer, an elk and a moose during it's day of patrolling the roads of the East Kootenays. I wish I had the pictures from when he hit the Moose because no doubt he was lucky he didn't have a passenger or the passenger likley would have suffered a fatal injury.

Glad you and your girlfriend are OK.
I've always worried about that sort of thing happening, and thanks to you I'll be driving more cautiously....especially at night in deer country.

Well thats a nice way to kick off a vacation. Lucky as hell to be alright now.
It looks so odd the deer position inside the car. Poor thing.

Time for a Kevin Guy Deer Burger Marathon . . . . .
Seriously, glad you lived through it.
What happened to you is what I fear is going to happen to me in the early morning gloom of my daily commute from the country.
I was going down the number 2 last year, south of the city, at 80 mph in broad daylight when a deer came out of the low, early morning sun and ran into the SIDE of my car, blew out the driver side window, sheered of the side mirror and left snot on the passenger side window, as well as glass in my mouth. The deer got up and ran away but I presume it expired later.
Glad you're around to talk about what happened.

WOW I have no idea how either of you got out of that with minor injuries! Glad to hear you are both doing well.
Way to show outstanding composure to keep driving to safety after that happens!
