All-Blacks are the most feared Rugby team on the planet. Those lads don't mess around.

And also, the whole Maori / white-guys doing the Haka, it's not looked down on there if non-Maoris do it. If they're part of the team, it doesn't matter what color you are.

That said, if a lone skinny white guy was doing on the street by himself, then that would look horribly awkward.

I used to think that, too. Then I saw the Haka in real life - even just as a greeting at a Maori village. The video doesn't do it justice. When you hear that they stick out their tongues and bug out their eyes, you think to yourself that it sounds silly. When you see that one done by one of those guys, however, it's really intimidating.

I saw it live when the world police/fire games were in Calgary years ago. It was unreal, all the teams they brought did a display. There was probably 50+ guys on the pitch.
