Turns out the guy convicted is an OHL player who went before Matt Duchene in the OHL entry draft.

I'd take that bet from you.

I suspect this is the guy.

Upon closer inspection, it appears you are correct Cizikas was playing his minor hockey with the Missisauga Ice Dogg prior to joining the OHL. It would also explain some tentativeness in his play despite the fact that he can be lights out when he wants to be. Just can't see him 5'10" and 175 being strong enough to actually slam somebody so hard into the ground that he would have killed them.

It is Cizikas and when you are 16 years old I am sure there are plenty, if not all, of kids out there that he could slam at that size.

A lean 175 at 5'10'' would actually be pretty big. Keep in mind the other kid involved was only 15 so he may have been much smaller.

For a better idea of what people that size look like when they are lean:

This kid wasn't your typical kid either. He was on the verge of turning into a pro athlete. Probably why he was being used as the enforcer.

ummmm, I'm no cop or lawyer but isn't it illegal to post any information on the identity of a person convicted of a crime under the age of 18?
