I was at Santana Row earlier today, saw most of the cars (the modern ones, not the classics) that have been mentioned so far there! Saw like 3 Lotus's in very bright colors, a few Aston Martin's and everything else Flashy. Made my MINI Cooper S look so Plain Jane in comparison! Haha.
I have 2 dream cars. On is a Porche Carerra GT and the other one is a BMW M3. With that car, its not as flashy as some of the other nicer cars like the Lotus...but its more practical if you have kids (hey you can get it in a 4 door and it has a trunk). So its my "practical" dream car. The M3 is something that I can hopefully save enough for. At this rate, Ill be close to 100 by the time I can afford it
Speaking of BMW, the new Z4s just came out..Im going to the BMW car show in Santa Barbara next weekend...can't wait to check out those baby's. Hopefully I can test drive.

Whats the use of driving a BMW if you won't take it on the highway?
Also, which Beemer does your husband have again that was $35k? I might want to upgrade my squeeky-sedan for one of those snazzy Beemers once I get a job. Driving down the CA coast in a family car sedan just isn't the california experience, so I'm enticed to pick up something more "californian"...

I was at Monaco last week and saw so many of these cars in person at the Monte Carlo. It saddens me to know that a stupid car is worth more than I ever will be.

GOAT!

I've had the same dream car since I played the first Gran Turismo on the PS1 in 1998...
The TVR Cerbera!
...of course, mine would be British Racing Green:

Most of us of a certain vintage probably thought this was about the coolest thing going .
I still want one (a red one, I just picked this photo for the wicked background and reflection on the floor).
There is one for sale in Calgary right now for a cool 165 grand. Another one in Toronto can be yours for half a million bucks.
