LOL, I like the girl that came up to shake his hand, and then gave a cheeky glance at his package.

Good idea! Now how do we do that?

And what does ticketing him actually do anyways? He's still going to be prancing around with his tiny wiener hanging out.

Man, the ween jokes are hilarious. I read the comments first before watching the video and I was thinking, "I can't say I'm hung like a horse, but how tiny can this thing be?" and oh man, that thing is a mole. The funny part about this video though, is when they first take him down to arrest him, he reaches and grabs the cops dong, and that's when the tazer comes out. Lesson learned here: never mess with a guys tool.

I had to watch a second time and then forward the link to mom to ask her:

Seriously?
That small?

Actually I think the cops used an ok amount of force here. He was fighting/resisting a lot.

Maybe you ticket him and move on, maybe you don't. I guess with the strict guidelines Coachella has (not really a hippie fest at all, I've been to a couple music festivals that are way more 'hippie' than Coachella, they don't really mind nakedness or other things generally), they probably had to either get him clothed, or get him out of there, so simply levying a fine probably wouldn't do.

It's completely different when a person is already handcuffed and they are tazering them, but this guy seemed like he was ready to go after pretty much every shock. It looked like they may have been assessing the situation well before each successive hit.

Plus they gave him ample time to comply.

Still, I do wonder how cops did things before tazers. (Like only 5 years ago, lol) Many seem to use it as a tool so they don't have to exert themselves too much or even a tool of intimidation, instead of a possibly lethal weapon of last resort.

At least based on other vids I've seen. And yeah yeah I know those are the worst examples and it's not always like that, but I think the statistics on both sides of the border show police employ tazers far too often and in questionable circumstances.

I can't really see anything wrong with this one though.

Cept for the guys third pinky. If it was even that big...

That was wrong. Maybe that's why he wanted to be a big man in front of the cops?

I think I have an explanation for the micropenis: another wizard cast a spell on him!

In all seriousness, he was clearly either drunk or high--and didn't look especially dangerous. This was a perfect example of how nudity can be utterly nonthreatening, even if also a little icky. And yeah, it's against the law. So? Arrest him. No-one can see his penis in the squad car. Let him sleep it off in the drunk tank and then pay a fine.

You want to tell me that three big, burly cops can't lead one doughy out-of-shape guy away in handcuffs without using a taser? Don't make me laugh. That guy looked about as dangerous as a tranquilized kitten. Just put cuffs on him and lead him away. No taser--and no big deal.

They were trying to arrest him you guys. Did you think all of that wrestling was just so that they could tase him? Give me a break. The guy was obviously actively resisting and defying orders.

So... defy orders and the next step is the taser?

I don't think so. Tasers are actually pretty dangerous--hundreds of people have died from it, and it can cause respiratory distress or cardiac arrhythmia.

Think of it this way: if they didn't have tasers, would you be okay with them beating the crap out of this guy with their nightsticks? Didn't think so: because we don't live in a fascist state where police can apply whatever force they want to regardless of the nature of the threat.

No-one's saying "don't arrest him." I'm just saying--three cops can easily slap cuffs on a guy and lead him away without risking injury or death with a taser. He's a doughy street magician, not a grizzly bear.

And an important issue to consider here is this: No-one was being threatened, no-one was in danger. If it takes a few extra minutes to secure the arrest, then that's just the way the cookie crumbles. Tasers are not an implement of convenience--they're a tool for subduing suspects that could be dangerous. In other words: they should be applied when the danger to the suspect is outweighed by the threat to public safety that the suspect represents.

Pretty simple. This incident, as much as we may all want to make fun of the dude's anatomy, doesn't meet that very basic test. It would be different if he was behaving lewdly, or attacking someone, or something that made the threat a bit more urgent. But he wasn't; he was just standing there in the buff like a big doughy weirdo. Clearly, cooler heads should have prevailed.

I would prefer getting Tased then a beat down by the billy club... so I think Tasing is the lesser of the 2...

How long until the guy gets mad and starts hitting back? The guy had PLENTY of oppurtunitys to rectify this situation.

He could have just put some clothes on one the many times he was asked. He didnt listen

Since he decided he was above the obvious nudity law, and didnt want to respect the police who just wanted him to cover his tiny weiner, They put him under arrest. Which he decides to fight.

You know he went from openly defying the law to disregarding the police to resisting arrest. Then next step would be Assault against a PO.

Fata him, he got what he deserved.

Yeah, I'm normally against taser use but the guy was being a ######. I'd rather they taser him than club him over the head. The dude wasn't going to be reasoned with.

As bad as a taser are, it's pretty darn effective at neutralizing someone. It was pretty evident to get the guy into submission was pretty difficult seeing how he was resisting arrest. Even as big as those cops are, to get into a position to 'legally' restrain him would be very difficult even for them. Try holding someone down and put hand cuffs on them and not cause too much injuries to them...

If you're resisting arrest, it's simple - you're gonna get tased bro!

I honestly would rather get tased and learn my lesson than be in a walking body cast for a few months
