Oh noes, they screwed up the floormats! That's kind of a funny recall, although I guess if 5 people already died, serious enough to do something about.

If the mats arent secured they can slide up under the brake causing the pedal travel to be reduced.

As much as I hate GM, I was going to post this exact thing. Bentley had to recall a TON of cars because the front wheel nuts may come off, haha.

But GM vehicles are built by monkeys.

I've had very mixed success with GM cars, but their trucks are a different story in my experience. I've owned a number of them and the GM trucks have been consistently excellent.
