I teach. My uncle needed to hire someone to work half time for three months and no one applied. I could make just as much working half time as I could full time back in Newfoundland so I came up for the experience.

New jobs came up and I met my fiance so I have been here ever since.

Nunavut teaching salaries are the highest in Canada.

All satellite internet. It's called broadband but is still pretty slow overall.

What is the approximate population of Chesterfield Inlet? And the other towns and cities in Nunavut?

On those cold winter nights, do you get a warm feeling from knowing that even though you live in Nunavut, at least you don't live in Edmonton?

Are the roads paved or are they all gravel (snow)? Gravel in summer, snow in winter. No paved roads and no roads out of town. The only way out of here and any other town in Nunavut is by plane.
