It's typical of FOX News to have those types of shows and discussions. They've been doing it for years, against any person or group that isn't pro-Rupublican/Bush doctrine. This shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone, and anyone who watches FOX News to give them fair assessments of news and world events, probably deserves to finally be in the demographic that is being offended.

As opposed to all the other new organization that gets their copy from the DNC, or the LP (in Canada)? Not saying, FOX is good or anything, but at least it's something different.

FOX news is news entertainment, like WWE wrestling is sports entertainment. Everything from how they present the news to their likely staged gaffs and bloopers just wreaks of sensationalism.
Say what you want about other networks and any biases they might have, but none use the same bullying and outright manipulation of facts like FOX does.

Do you have a link for that. I am sure you do (the outright manipulation of facts).
Thanks.
Every news agency skews a story for its audience. FNC, CBC, CNN, MSNBC, CNBC, .... etc. If you skew leans left, then watch CBC or MSNBC if your skew leans right watch Fox News.
I dont watch Fox News to get the Lefts perspective, I can come to CP for that.
Cable news is cable news so get off your MSNBC high horse.

It was regretable what that program on FNC said, but I wont stop paying for the channel because of it. A viewer of any program should inform himself/herself about the argument. You watch these programs to get opinons on that argument that you wouldnt have thought about yourself.
Example, left thinks that a immigration policiy is "un-American" the right thinks the US needs to strengthen its immigration policy. If you want more left opinon watch everyone else. If you want a more right of centre opinon, watch Fox News.

Post #4 of this thread is a pretty good example, and the whole premise of why the OP was upset pretty much illustrates how FOX hosts and personalities manipulate information to make things look different than what they are.
Say what you want about other networks with their leanings, but none are as extreme as FOX.

Isn't the whole idea to form opinions on your own volition? Not what some talking head says on any kind of channel?
If you want an as far right from centre opinion, watch Fox News.

It made my brain hurt reading some of the angry responses from the twelve year olds who post comments on Youtube. No more reading comments on Youtube! I'm proud of our military, and indeed a lot of Americans are ignorant and uninformed, but boy we sure have our share of mudslinging morons here at home too.

At this point, Greg Gutfeld and his handlers at Fox News have embarrassed the United States. And when I say that, I'm not exaggerating. As the video clip featuring Fox's unabashed chickenhawks spread across the country, Canada's Defence Minister called for a Fox News apology--which he and the rest of the country received this afternoon.
And it's great that Gutfeld has apologized for the ignorant chatter over which he presided last Tuesday, but it's still demonstrative of the larger problem we face in this country of the disconnect between those who serve in uniform and those who don't. Fox News is part of the problem. They always have been. And until that culture changes, we can expect to see more Greg Gutfeld's on the air mocking those who've sacrificed in the service of their country--or someone else's country--like Rob Furlong and his brothers in Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry.

For amusement, I e-mailed the American Veterans Association link to Bill O'Reilly and suggested it would be fair of him to name his colleagues Pinheads Of The Day.
Pyschologically, I'd say it's about 50/50 that he'd do it.

Exactly. Americans should be just as upset with this guy as us Canadians. It fuels stereotypes for both countries
