Why don't you just turn off signatures so you don't have to look at them if they annoy you?
You're just trying to hide the fact that yours is 4px larger than the limit! Whoever made that is a failure!

Thanks, Flame On for reducing your sig size.

Here are some more...

Howie_16 http://forum.calgarypuck.com/member.php?u=4363

^^^ Seriously, who the heck needs THAT combination in their sig

Singe http://forum.calgarypuck.com/member.php?u=9260
GoJetsGo http://forum.calgarypuck.com/member.php?u=7098
Swarly http://forum.calgarypuck.com/member.php?u=6775
Maritime Q-Scout http://forum.calgarypuck.com/member.php?u=1395
Kavy http://forum.calgarypuck.com/member.php?u=7830
Lanny'sDaMan http://forum.calgarypuck.com/member.php?u=5137
flamesfan597 http://forum.calgarypuck.com/member.php?u=9336
narbeZ http://forum.calgarypuck.com/member.php?u=7800

And Hoot, please spare me the "turn off the sigs" arguement.

Is it really all or nothing? Can one not appreciate all the art that IS put forward in a moderate fashion? What about those that scan the forums that are not logged in, i/e/ lurkers and NEW potential posters. Do we have to subject them to sig hell too? Like I said in my previous post, I can't stand reading OTHER forums that have sigs so large that you are constantly scrolling to get to some meat of posting.

Come on mods, isn't enough enough?

Edit, for the record, you need to click on the "About Me" now tab to see each ones sig....

Yes the point was made long ago without having to bring up dozens of examples.

I just haven't had time to formalize the idea into something that is enforceable and that accounts for the various combinations of text and images.

And it makes no sense to start telling people their sigs are too big unless there's something specific to enforce.

I can agree Howie_16, Maritime Q, flamesfan and narbez are too big, but some of the other are too big by 20-50 pixels at most and mostly in length not height.

Why not make two rules one with an image and one without? (I'm just throwing out numbers)

W/ Image - Image can be 450 x 150 with one line of text sized at 2 or lower.

W/o Image - Text can be three lines in height with text size 3 or lower. Max 50 characters in length

Give smaller numbers so you can give a little leeway but be tough on the ones that abuse it.

I really dont care that much, like ok some are huge, but on the other hand, why do you care enough to go hunt down like 30 examples of people?

I'm wondering if it would be possible to set it up so someone's signature shows up only once per page.

So if someone posts 3 times in the one page currently it shows their banner all three times but set it up to just show the first banner per page.

Hm, I'll have to check to see if there's a mod for that.

I've seen it on InvisionFree Power Boards but don't know if vBulletin would support it.
