The Macs surgeon thing is arguably the ballsiest thing I have heard in a long time.

I get the mental imagine of some East Indian dude, a motel sewing kit and bottle of Wild Turkey...

flameswin: "Is this going to hurt?"
Macs Surgeon: "Oh yes! Very much!!"
flameswin: "Auuuuuuuuggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!"
Macs Surgeon: "Drink teh Turkey!! Drink teh Turkey!!"

This thread is a great example of why CP is my favorite thing on the internet. I just laughed my ass right off for the last 3 minutes. I love that a Mac's convenience store clerk offered to perform a medical procedure in his house and it was actually a very viable option.

Drink teh turkey ... I'm still laughing.

I would have gone the super glue route as well. Used it before, stings... but works great. As mentioned before, that was its original use, for sealing wounds during the war.

update: Talked to the guy at Mac's again. Upon seeing my stitches, he seemed almost kind of offended that I went somewhere else. He thought the idea of driving all the way to High River when I could have had it done 2 minutes from my house was crazy.

Isn't that urgent care place in sundance 24/7 ?

For next time anyways.

When I was highsticked i went to strathmore, but we were playing in chestermere. I went to the pub first though in chestermere and passed out while waiting for doctor to come in

Can you ask him if he does hip replacements?

My father's been waiting ages.

Tell him we've got our own drill sets and a reciprocating saw. Also can get the plates and screws from HD if he makes us a list.
