Oh and back to driving. I just got back from picking up my g/f from the scene where her car just got totaled thanks to some bonehead that ran a red light. At least everyone was ok.

^^ Twice I saw people run reds on the way to MRC. They just think that they can't stop, or forget about basic traffic laws. It's amazing. I can't comprehend the stupidity of drivers in this city.

Are the roads really that bad out there today? I just shovelled the walk, and it was like 3 inches of nice lite and fluffy snow... how can the roads be horrible?

How much time should I add to commute to the game? Half again, double? I'm going from the MRC area, to the Dome. It ussually takes about 20 minutes.

This morning on the drive in, I saw a civic do a 900 inbetween 16th and 32nd ave on the Deerfoot. The person had accelerated out of the weave-lane but wound up spinning out. Of course, this is all at 70-80 kph as I was following a ford tempo. or was it 60? That tempo sure was slow.
