That show looked like it was going to be the best things since sliced bread.

I know!!!! It was such an awesome concept for a show, and they killed it just as we were finding out the truth behind Fillion's character - I was so freaking mad!

I actually liked the episode. Yeah, the dialogue still seems a bit weak, but the twists of the episode were pretty well done.
And re: Drive - it had the best crash scene I've ever seen. They shut it down WAY too quickly. I hope the same doesn't happen to Dollhouse who dropped viewers this week, but it still had more viewers than Terminator or Friday Night Lights.

speaking of weak dialogue. I think the funniest part of that show was when her protector guy and the other guy were pretending to read a map when the fake cop drove up. They acted like they didn;'t notice the guy driving up and getting out of his car, and then the fake cop goes.... "excuse me", to get their attention.
They're out in the middle of nowhere, and the only noise is probably chirping birds, and they don't notice a car drive up to them?

What is weird is in some parts it is good, but other parts it is very stilted.
It almost makes me wonder if the episode wasn't re-edited in some way that screwed with the flow. And knowing that the Premiere wasn't initially intended to be the premiere makes me wonder is ep. 2 wasn't re-worked to account for continuity issues.

I liked this episode. It seemed more complete.
And another revelation (or two). Pretty good pacing on those.

Agreed Bobble...had just commented half way through that this thing might not make it past the first season and then it got pretty good. I think Eliza is doing an excellent job of showing a different personality each time she's activated. Pretty good stuff from her.
The Sierra twist is interesting.

Yeah, I thought the dialogue was better this time around too--and the revelation with "Victor" is puzzling and strange as well.
The strangest moment was when Echo shook her head at Sierra as if to say "not now, we're being watched" when they're in "tabula rasa" mode. Clearly the game has changed somewhat--we just don't yet know how much.

Just watched the last 2 episodes tonight.
I am convinced this series will have legs for the rest of this season at minimum.

I hope so. Good episode tonight again.
I'm thinking the first 2 episodes were uneven because they were switched.

Agreed. The dialogue is getting better, the intrigue is picking up. I'm a little puzzled by the Victor plotline still, but I'm willing to be patient.

"There are three flowers in a vase. The third one is indigo....no, wait, wrong colour...green? no...fuschia? nope...orange? Oh geez, ok you can stop being weak now. Hello? Hello?"
Yeah, I really enjoyed yesterdays episode too. There was a lot more development, and I think the series could thrive if it keeps going like that.
Do they ever know how to keep you hooked before a commercial break, eh?

Finally got a chance to see that ep. The best one by far.
This is the first one Joss wrote since the premiere. I hope he writes a bunch more.
If you want to see the potential of this series, this episode (6 - "Man on the Street") is the one to go by.

Yeah, my wife and I just watched "Man on the Street" as well. Quietly this show is working its way into our weekly TV lexicon. I think we'll stick around for the long haul now.

I agree with pretty everyone else. I was wondering if I'd continue watching until I saw the latest episode. Now I will for sure. Typical Joss Whedon; always takes a while to get into, at least for me.
