Don't feel dumb dressing cowboy formal. I bet at least 95% of the people there will. Even Juice had a cowboy hat on last year with sneakers.

Yeah, I will. I'll look strange though. Asain cowboys weren't really around in the good old western days
I'll probably just have a cowboy hat, a western/plaid shirt with my jeans and that's it. I don't own no cowboy boots

I brought my infant son's jersey and got all the Flames there to sign it. The only ones I don't have is Langkow and Giordano's. Both were not there for obvious reasons. Primeau just had surgery which surprised me because he's been out for awhile, but when I asked him why, he just said "ask the doctors" and didn't look too happy about that. Kipper was funny. Dion was hammered. Regher and Pardy kept their jerseys the longest. Only Brandon Prust made the final table. I think he finished 4th. Just ahead of me.
Kevin Smith (from Global) was a great guy too. He made the final two tables I think. He was rooting for me. I played with him a couple months ago and he remembered me. Well, it was hard for him to forget me considering I was dressed up in my Bert costume at the time (it was the Boston game, so basically the Halloween night game).
The girls were all hot. I talked to Mike Richards as well. Funny guy. I asked him if I was gay or not gay. He said I cleary wasn't gay since I made it to the final table. lol.
I won $1400 cash, $500 buy in for a Canadian Poker Tour event, a Top flight experience to the Sharks game on the 30th as well. Not sure what that means but I'm supposed to show up at 530 for a 730 start and there is food and drinks involved.
Once again I had a blast. So much fun. Everyone was in a good mood. Oh, and Ken King lost 60 lbs! He choked my while I was still chewing my food. Dude almost killed me. Lol

congrats and go figures that dion was smashed.... and kipper was funny ? he actually talked?

Oh man, the, "Top Flight experience" is beyond awesome.
My company had a launch event in January, and we took 30 clients to the game, on the top flight experience.
Private room, amazing meal, as much free booze as you can drink, kick ass lower bowl seats, and an unreal huge glass framed/signed picture of Rene Bourque on every seat at the table after the game. Ken King, and Rollie Cyr also stopped by for about 20 minutes and answered questions.
They also had a contest in which you choose the first goal scored by a Flame. The guy who won had picked Cammalleri, and got a MASSIVE signed framed pic of Cammalleri.
Then they had a draw with everybodies names, and I actually won. I won a huge framed picture of my all time favorite Flame, Re-Todd Bertuzzi. Hahaha...sigh.
Tickets to this experience run about $700.00 per person. Anyways be prepared for an amazing night, you will be treated like royalty.

I actually didn't do any re-buys. Scraping $650 for the initial buy in was enough for me. I did bring $400 just in case though. It was $200 for rebuys. People were rebuying like crazy though. The tourney started just after 4pm. Unlimited rebuys until 6pm. After the intermission, players were dropping like flies. I was all-in a couple times and got lucky

Congrats man... I was at a table where there were to many lawyers and oil men with deep pockets.... One guy at my table re-bought 11 times.... I was out just before the break with no re-buys. Prust was at my table, the kids good, the hand he lost his jersey on was a race.
Kinger punched me in the kidney, he's dirty!

No. I got lucky. I had A-3 when I flopped my trips. I went all-in. Dude called me with A-9 so he had me outkicked. Hit my 3 on the river. Lol
