I've had it a couple of times...it was because I took a hit to the kidneys, and bruised them. It went away after a few days. First time freaked me out, so I went to the doctor, 2nd time, I wasn't too concerned. If you're concerned, call health link first, unless you have a family doc that's easy to get in to see.

As before... GO TO THE Doctor
It may not be bad, but I actually had a bleeding kidney that bled for three months before it healed... oh yeah. and if they need to give you a cystoscope be perpared for the worst pain ever

It may be just blood now, and it doesn't hurt. However, if it's a kidney stone, that's something that can make grown men cry.
Get it checked out

Just had a kidney stone on Friday night. WORST PAIN EVER. I could not sit or stand or lay down, threw up a couple times from the pain. Went to ER and the first drug they gave me was bitch slapped by the pain. Thank God for Morphine. Then, after a 12 hour wait, I got to have my junk on display for all the nureses, while they inserted a "probe" into the end of my happy steak and dug out the little bugger. At least this was under general.
On the plus side... Yeah, no plus side.
On a completely related note, drink more water.

Seems a little crazy.

Always call Health Link first. They will help you decide if you need to visit the doctor, go to emerg, or provide self care.

Try a taste test. If your urine tastes terrible, you're normal. But if you think it tastes great, you're definitely sick.

1. Go to the doctor. Blood in the urine is called hematuria. Most males will have this at least once over their lifetime especially if when you're sexually active. It's like women with yeast infections and urinary tract infections.
This is probably what they'll come up with.....
- If the 2nd time, had less blood then the 1st time you're probably fine. They'll tell you to monitor and if it goes away you're ok.
- They'll ask you if you're sexually active....if so and you're under 40 years old a minor injury (after sex for example) or infection are common. If you are urinating more frequently, this probably is an infection.
- Most likely nothing bad and rare like cancer but you should either way see a doctor. Better to be safe then sorry.

I don't think he's dead. I think he took everyone's advice and went to the doctor. He's just still in the waiting room... that's all.

Jeez, we've had a few posters disappear over suspicious circumstances.
There's this guy, though he is probably just at the hospital
Anyone see Chris Lindberg yet?
And anyone remember that guy who found his car's licence plate in the window of someones else apartment? He was wondering if he should go confront him. Then nothing. This was quite a while ago. 6+ months? A year?
