Calgary set that match-up up last night by beating Portland 12-9, to finish the season 12-4 and with the best record in the league. We've got home floor throughout the playoffs... hopefully there are three more games left in Calgary.

I just got a call from Jeff Shattler (77) reminding me about the game on Saturday. He is my favorite player on the 'Necks. I thought it was pretty awesome they were doing that.

I was torn on going to the game or staying home and watching the Hitmen play. I am glad that we stayed home to watch the Hitmen. It's actually a game.
Roughnecks are up 14-0 with two minutes left in the 3rd. I don't think I have ever seen a game that lopsided.

God did the Stealth get owned. Especially loved King scoring to end the first. That was awesome!

King made some great saves to keep the Stealth off the board, and had a awsome goal in the dying seconds of the first. I don't remember any team being shut out of a game for that long.
Definitely need more people at the Dome for the championship game. The crowd at these last few games have seemed sparse.

Crowds werent all that surprising. Playoff games in minor leagues usually have smaller crowds than the regular season.
But if it's anything like 2004, going to be a lot of people there Friday

King was outstanding that game, he was in perfect position for just about every shot.
I thought the Stealth played better than the Mammoth did. They sure had a much higher level of compete and the game was a lot more physical, but the score didn't really tell the story.
Calgary totally dominated though.

King shuts them out for 3 quarters, and scores the winning goal? Not bad for a goalie....
Good stuff Roughnecks. Let's pack the dome next Friday.
