That was amazing! I loved Jack hot wiring the car and then crashing out of the parkade.

The hot red headed FBI agent, is turning out to be a lot like Jack. Taking matters into her own hands etc. She is going to be burned and not trust anyone. She is probably doing her boss, and he'll get killed, so she'll be numbed to human emotions. Maybe they become a dynamic duo in the future.

Great episode again.
I remember back to season 1 when Jack had to fake killing Nina Myers. Remember he "shot" her and then pushed her down the hill..........
The silent clock was used for the 7th time in the shows history. Was it appropriate?

Good episode, this season is turning out to be pretty good. Hopefully it doesn't turn south like Day 6 did.

Whenever they show the clock before a commercial or the end of the show... there's always the beeping sound for each second. The silent clock is the countdown, but without the beeping. They only usually use it for real 'emotional' instances (aka death of a main character).
Kind of suprirsed it was used here seeing as it's usually signifies the death of somebody real important (ie, Teri Bauer, Ryan Chapelle... I think President Palmer got a silent clock too).
Season is going good so far.. hopefully it doesn't turn into another season 6!

Tonight's 2 hour episode was the best since season 1. I haven't been that on the edge of my seat watching a show or movie in a long time. Ending was great.

I agree that it was the best night of 24 in a long time but I don't know if I'd say it was the best since season 1.

Yea, somewhat an akward show the last couple weeks with a subplot coming hastily to an end (Daboku really sitting around waiting for some girl he hooked up with, putting the mission in jeopardy?), but tonight was pretty good.
That said, a little thin on the story. That was a quick 10 min scuba to get under the Whitehouse. A quick 5 mins of drilling through thick rock, then one guy flicking the switch to turn off the alarm, a hole in a wall, and 10 guys are in fully armed. Plus, are there really no cameras in the Whitehouse? Those guys were roaming the halls for over 5 mins, and an extra 5 mins after killing 2 Secret Service guys.
Anyways, should be action packed next week.

With Jack on the run again, it lets him get back with Tony again. Also, I'm thinking Renee going to join them as well.
Still trying to guess the main bad guy's motive.

All season I was looking forward to the inevitable Chloe vs. Jeanine Garofalo pout-off that finally happened last week, but I was a bit disappointed; I was hoping it would be more Zoolander style, with Beat It playing in the background and David Bowie judging their efforts to stick out their lips and furrow their brows and out-pout one another.
But yeah, last night's episode was great.

Chloe won't be back for a few episodes. The actress was pregnant during filming. It'll come though, since it's bound to happen that there is some computer crisis that only Chloe can fix, and she'll be back.
What kind of weapon system is only available through general Juma? If the man has so many contacts including access to the code key to the Presidential safe room, surely it can be pruchased State side. Also, what would be a point of such a strike on US cities. I'm so intrigued on this new plot

My guess is money. Jon Voights character seems more like a businessman than a terrorist.

Yes I got that impression as well. Accepts the setbacks as business losses and then on with the plan. Good action in this one which is really the only reason I watch 24 in the first place.
