well called the condo board, they seemed very uninterested that my garage door opener was taken and were unable to deactivate it as every opener for the building is the same, to stop one from working they have to change the frequency for everyone. they also charged me $50 for another one which was a big money grab. getting the window replaced was fine though, Speedy Glass did it in 2 hours and it cost me $220 after tax, i was quite impressed

and yes, all my insurance/registration info is still there, that's one of the first things i checked when i noticed the garage remote missing. but why couldn't the asshat smash my windshield instead, i need to get that replaced anyways

Windshields are harder to break- the amount of force needed to smash it is quite a bit.

And $50 for the opener seems reasonable to me. I know I've paid as much as $40 for one from a store- and that was 8 years ago. Plus they would want to discourage people losing them.

I agree, I bought a cheap one for my car that rarely used the garage and it ran me ~25 bucks.

That sucks.

I have a set of lugs that I bought last year if you're interested. I bought the lugs but never ended up buying the wheels. I can get the sizes if you want. I bought them for my Mazda 3, so I know they will fit that, not sure about your car. They are Rays Engineering lug nuts black in colour.

Maybe you should investigate these lug nuts and get your door opener back when meeting with him.......
