Exactly. That is the first thing they teach the kids. I think most of us, or at least myself, try to teach them to stay on their feet and not to fall. Which doesn't seem to work so well.

haha, I still had a series of bruises up my entire right side, (because i can only stop to the right now) but at least I figured out what an edge was.

Being shamed in skating by my 5 year old son has kept me moving forward with my skating.
