Kids don't seem to be that bothered about falling, but they sure can get frustrated pretty quick if they can't get back up.

Exactly. That is the first thing they teach the kids. I think most of us, or at least myself, try to teach them to stay on their feet and not to fall. Which doesn't seem to work so well.

haha, I still had a series of bruises up my entire right side, (because i can only stop to the right now) but at least I figured out what an edge was.

Being shamed in skating by my 5 year old son has kept me moving forward with my skating.
