One of the most ######ed decisions they made...bowling lanes and pool in a virtual world that you have to queue up for...what, exactly is the driving need for artificial scarcity in a virtual world? Spawn another table and get on with it.

I tried it out, it was alright for a bit then got boring. It's something that with more content and more interaction could be interesting, as in I went into the theatre and it was showing some trailer, but it would be good to go into the theatre, be able to pay for a movie and then pop up a stream (whole TV like you would exit home) and be able to watch it. Am I just way out there? I don't know, I just found it boring.

You're right on, in my opinion. I found it to be a little interesting, but ultimately lame. Hopefully, it will become more worthwhile.

No kidding. But then again, perhaps the idea indicates Sony's next big PS3 hit:
Being in Line: The Video Game!
-Experience the heart-pounding excitement of trying to get a parking spot at Chinook Center one week before Christmas, or going to the Emergency room at a Calgary area hospital because you have the sniffles. Now, you can experience the fun and excitement of waiting in line in your own home!
I don't know about you guys, but I'd wait in line for that game!

Just keep trying. If you get an error, try a few more times. If that doesn't work, exit the program, then restart it again and repeat (at least, that's what I do). Eventually, you *will* get on.

I can't find home on my PS3... This is really frustrating. Tried the playstation store. Tried updating. Where am I supposed to find it in my menu?

Which one has Life With Playstation? I remember it was in that one. Either Network or Playstation Network. Do you have the latest PS3 update?

Thanks. That worked. I had to power cycle my modem as well. It wasn't liking me much at all.

NP. I think I got lucky with mine. I DL'd a bunch of free LBP stuff and saw Home as I zipped through the menus.

When connecting to home, apparently you run these risks:
1) Uploading own files to hack the server itself
2) Replace original files and insert code which could damage your PS3
3) Executing unsigned code via replaced LUA and JAVA files
Link to the blog from ps3 fanboy, so caveat emptor.
