I usually get around 100 before I start to make errors. Depends on the day though. My IT department had an IT Olympics over a year ago and I crushed everybody on the typing portion, and I only got around 85.

78 wpm, zero errors. I notice it doesn't ding me for backspacing, since out of habit I fix my errors. When I take typing tests for employement, they always show how many times I've backspaced and count against the wpm.

I am happy with that considering I didn't even realize half the things I was typing were actual words.

My work on a computer doesn't required me to type quickly, it just requires what I type to be right. Apparently compiling is a good thing when you are writing a program.

I use a non standard typing style that involves the middle finger, pinky and thumb of my left hand and the index finger, thumb and pinky of my right hand.

83WPM, 3 mistakes. I'm usually somewhere between 80 - 90 WPM with a couple mistakes when I do typing tests.

I'm a programmer, so I'm typing 8 - 10 hours a day. Of course, I'm faster when the words are in my head instead of copying some random text from a book. Faster still when it's not words, but source code instead. Stuff like "for(int i=0; i<foo; i++) { " is just plain muscle memory. :P
