I used to be a clean and scrub guy at a large killer whale tank aquarium. Sounds good, but things didn't end up all that well for me.

There's nothing worse. The office I work in, we own the building, it's an old building. We had some plumbing problems last year, we came in one day and one of the bathrooms literally looked like a geyser of crap had come out of the toilet, it was all over the walls everything. The boss cleaned it up after the plumbers had fixed whatever. Then about two weeks later it happened again. He asked me if I would clean it, he didn't want to do it again. I also clean the office as my second job, so he said I could charge him whatever I wanted for doing it, so I charged him an extra $100 for a job that probably only took 45 minutes, but was utterly disgusting.

I remember throwing up half way through the cleaning process. The stench was just awful.

I totally understand vomiting during that. I am pretty sure that if that had happened while I was at BK, I wouldn't have done it and probably would have quit if it came to that.

If it wasn't for the fact it was well paying union job i would handed the boss the mop and said you do it!
I must confess however that i did wrap a small tiny piece in a paper towel. Boss drove a beater at the time and always left his doors unlocked. So i hid that small piece under his passenger seat. Took him a week to find it and he blamed one of his kids for it

You should have heard him complain all week about the smell in his car. It was only when someone suggested that maybe a dead mouse died in his car that he started checking

I worked at Future Shop when I got out of college. There were 2 parts that really sucked. First, the managers are nutbars. The catch phrases and chanting in the mornings was crazy. Second was selling the stupid extended warranty. I knew it was a ripoff, but I would only make $10 selling an entire computer, and would get $80 by selling the warranty. I once managed to get $4000 of credit for an 18 year old kid and helped him spend every dime of it. My guess is he is either bankrupt or still paying it off 15 years later.

Fire extinguisher recharger. The CO2 and water ones were fine. Refilling powder ones, yech. That stuff gets everywhere. And the safety equipment this company had blew chunks. Glad I didn't work there long, I'd have respiratory issues for sure.

None of my jobs have ever been that horrible.
I worked at BK for a while but most of my fellow employees were pretty cool so I never hated it as much as I should've.
I think all jobs suck. I wish it was like Star Trek where the pursuit of happiness was more important than capitalism.

Can I venture a guess and say Opinion Search Inc.?
Anyway, I worked Produce in Superstore during high school... 6AM start Saturday and Sunday morning... doesn't sound so bad right? I end at 11PM at Tim Hortons Friday night and start at 2PM at Tims Saturday after working at superstore... and ending at 10.
Not the best idea during high school as I would have absolutely no time for homework over the weekend whatsoever.

It was indeed Opinion Search. What a horrible, horrible, horrible place to work. I did the training and everything, I went for my first actual shift, got quite a few really terrible things said to me and I walked out after a couple hours. I couldn't do it. Never went back

Door to door sales. Actually wondering through factories getting told to F-off. Worst day of my working life.
