Very few kids out here in Moncton tonight, it's a real shame that Halloween seems to be on the decline.

I think I've had 10 so far and the streets look empty. I live in a pretty young community so I'm a little surprised.

I've only had about 12 kids so far. The little ones are the cutest, especially when they have hot moms.

It almost seems to have become more of an adult holiday. I can barely remember any adults other than teachers dressing up on halloween when I was a kid in the 1970s. But I saw more costumes at work today than I have all night from trick or treaters.

I live in Calgary SW (Woodbine).

So far, as of 7:25 pm I've had THREE kids knock at our door.

I think maybe next year my wife and I will go out for dinner and a movie, instead.

About 20 so far. And I've got the good stuff; the malls usually have crap.

Full size bars here in Copperfield- 11 kids so far.

Anybody know what charities would take the leftovers and give them to needy kids?

Starting to get busier, alot of little kids and they've been yelling alot.
They're not even using the doorbell so I'm happier.

I had 40 kids last year and it was freezing cold that Halloween. It was very mild this evening and I only had enough pop for 45 kids, so I ran to Zellers and got a back-up bag of Hershey bars.

Got 24 kids. And 4 were repeats. I only realized they were repeats after they got back to my driveway.... ah well, I was kinda pissed, but on the other hand, better the sugar go them than me.

The malls here had the "Safe Halloween Party" thing and judging by the parking lot, it was quite popular.

I seem to remember fire halls collecting leftovers.

Last year we had 10, and so far this year, we've had 50. We ran out of chips, so I've resorted to opening the box of wagonwheels that are usually for the hubby's lunch... he's not too impressed.

I had about 20. No one in the last 20 minutes so I shut down. Only about 6 little chocolate bars left.

No shortage of kids here in Strathmore. Probably had about 75-80 so far and by looking out my front window, it isn't gonna die down anytime soon. I'm down to 4 chocolate bars left. Soon I'll have to turn out the lights...or start giving out cans of soup or something.

Here's your cream of mushroom, happy halloween!

A few years ago we used to get over 100 every year, sometimes closer to 150. Last year it was down to 60. This year it will probably be fewer than 50 ... we've had about 35 so far but the older kids usually don't come around until after 8. The downtown businesses in here in Drum have started giving out Halloween goodies here for the last few years, so that's really lowered the number of kids that tour the residential areas. Too bad ... I like seeing all the little ghouls.

Halloween is serious business by the time you're nine years old. By then, you're a grizzled veteran who plans out Candy Night with military precision.

Kids burn off calories and learn time management skills in order to maximize the haul. Don't tell me young 'uns don't learn valuable lessons.

We got about 40 here....pretty pathetic IMO. I was out for a bit with my daughter and the streets were empty. Not the kind of Halloween that I had as a kid!

Oh geez, when I was a kid the streets resembled the Courtland Park scene from The Warriors. A teaming (though pint-sized) sea of humanity.
