Haha you're actually probably right. We had that up here last week, the whole city reeked. I seriously started to wonder if it was me, until a guy in my class said the smell's been following him around everywhere too. I have no idea what in the blue hell that's from.

Is there any coincidence that when Fatty Savard left town, the smell went away?

I thought it was that time of year when farmers put manure on their fields

the smell downtown reminds me of a smell I experienced often while living in Inglewood. Someone told me it was fumes from the lillydale chicken factory just east of downtown.
Kind of like a yeasty smelling vomitorium.

I thought I was going crazy, I walked about 500 feet from my house to the co-op on 130th ave and I thought I stepped in dog crap cause the whole walk that is all I could smell. Checked my shoes like 3 times to make sure. So its relief to see I'm not the only one.

Perhaps you misunderstood. We're only talking about places that don't normally smell like crap .

The pollutants can't escape the air around here because of the strong chinook arch. Basically what everyone is breathing/smelling is exhaust and fumes from sewage that normally blows away do the westerly winds which are non-existant right now.

Definitly smelled in the south east today. Exactly the same as a barn smells.

So, this is what normally gets blown into Saskatchewan every day? No wonder the whole province has moved here.
