Happiness eludes me lately.. but things that usually put a smile on my face are:
The sound of Neko Case's voice when she starts singing in the New Pornographers song The Bleeding Heart Show.
The movie Rushmore.
The first beer after 8.5 weeks of sobriety.

When I get home from work my 2 year old son hears the garage door and "hides" under a blanket on the couch in anticipation of me finding him, his excited giggles create the absolute greatest feeling in the world.
The welcome home greeting from my dog at the door.
Beer - warm, cold, whatever!
Sitting by a fire at night while camping with a beer in hand.

Spending time with my kids, especially since they are older now and not home as much.
Cold beer on a hot weekend afternoon.
Coffee with Bailey's on a cold winter morning.
Movie days at home with the family.
Going for a walk on a sunny cool fall day.
Sitting on the beach at my favourite spot on the Bruce Peninsula.

^your cat looks absolutely thrilled to be in that costume!^
My children make me happy. The sound of their laughter, their smiles. Seeing my son in his skates and on the ice for the first time (just a couple of weeks ago!) made me so happy and so proud. Hearing him say "Go Flames Go" whenever he sees the Flaming C, and how he says "Boo Oilers" whenever he sees any other teams logo! (Have to teach him the right way early!!)

Hmmm, things that make me happy...
I agree with the cheesey 90's pop music. Aqua, S Club 7, Spice Girls always make me smile.
Flames wins
Reading Harry Potter at Christmas Time
Anything at Christmas: making cookies, decorating the tree, Christmas carols, Christmas movies...etc!
And my cats.

How about walking into a university class where the prof hands out Halloween candy?!
It was like elementary school again! It was great!

Hearing the guitar kick in at the start of "New Orleans is Sinking". I'm such a big Hip fan that I cannot hear their music without a gigantic smile coming across my face.
Also, I highly recommend listening the the "Killer Whale Tank" live version of the song! It's one of Gordon Downie's famous stories/rants that blows my mind!
PM me if you're curious about it. I think it's goooood.
