Western Girl? So, just throw on a cowboy hat or something?

Go as a Condom. It's just a slightly modified Ghost costume. Make a resevoir area up top and a rolled up portion at the bottom, cut a hole for your face and some arm holes and voila, Hilarity ensues.
My Brother and sister in law did this one year, he was the condom and she was the condom package. She's pretty handy on the sewing machine but the condom shouldn't be to difficult to make

lol at that video, "wouldn't you like to four-score with me?"
(rant) I think I always have that problem with Halloween, every costume is too sexy, not wearable if you're planning on walking around outside in Calgary in October. I wanted to be Rainbow Brite but all the options are basically a peek right up the hoo-ha if I go with any store bought versions.
My only option (while maintaining my self-respect) is to make my own which takes way too much time (/rant)

^^ That's exactly my issue with store bought costumes for the ladies. You can never just be something, you have to be a sexified version of something.

Anyone know where you can get that hillbilly / bear costume from Super Troopers? I'm looking to make a statement.

A few buddies and myself got invited last minute to a Halloween party many eons ago in edmonton. We just headed to the local wal-mart and bought the cheapest superhero outfits we could find. Unfortunately they were made for 12 year boys not 20 something guys with beer guts! They made for some pretty funny looking costumes. We were the origianl old and fat super heros.
We once went as a old couple at the beach. My friend dressed up as the "dirty old man" with weaved fedor hat, plaid short shorts and high black socks with the sock holder upper jobby. I went as a big fat women with gigantic breasts. He would walk around with binoculars and oggle the women and I would smack him with a oversized purse.

For some reason thinking of Nick Nolte reminds me of huffer guy.
That would be an awesome costume... gold paint around the nose and mouth, crazy hair, blue shirt, and voila!

I think I got this from a similar CP thread -- go as "IDAHO"
Bonus points if you can get a partner to go as "FLOREDA"
