You guys haven't had pizza till you've been to Windsor. Best pizza in Canada, and numerous places all equally good!
But it came to Calgary and wasn't received very well. Then some Ontario folk that tasted it here said they must have changed when opening up here, as it wasn't nearly as good.
As for Pizza Pizza, I also thought it was owned by Little Ceasers as the colours and branding are very similar. Just found out in this thread it's actually Pizza 73.
Was drunk in downtown Toronto last night and Pizza Pizza saved me. So good to soak up the beer, whatever happened to the Pizza Pizzas in Calgary? ^^ This man knows his Pizza. That garlic dipping sauce is the bomb. Might go for another pie tonight!
Holy, a 15 year thread bump.

Little Caesars's slogan is "Pizza Pizza" and they can't use it in Canada because of the chain.
Anyone ever tried seniores pizza had it last month was surprised how busy the place was.
Well I'll tell you what Mr. Southside403...I visited my mom in the ol' 'hood recently and we got some good old fashioned Gondola Pizza and it...was...awful.
How that place is still in business defies belief.
Its gotta be a money-laundering front or something. Nobody can sell Pizza that bad for ~30 years. It should simply be impossible.
Your first bite should be your last. It is almost unfathomably bad.

I'm in Winnipeg and we have Pizza Pizza. It's definitely not the same as Pizza 73. I miss that stuff. Not the most compelling pizza but I do miss it. Thankfully, we live 300 meters from Wall St. Slice. Best pizza I've ever had in Winnipeg or anywhere else.

I can seemingly recall Gondola Pizza being around since, at least, the late 60's in Winnipeg.
