Preds for me. She's good, but not unbeatable.

Played against her the first time tonight oddly enough in BAP, she's on the Leafs.
She is pretty good, but she also lets out some really weird looking rebounds seemingly on slapshots, ones that other goalies don't...as if its intentional.
Both goals were hard slappers from the top of the faceoff circle or higher, and then above mentioned weird rebound bounces right to a guy around the net or even the slot, to pot it.

I played against her as well two days ago and ended up scoring 3 on her (and won the game 3-0).
First goal was a point shot which generated a rebound and then banged it in. Second was cutting into the slot from down low from left to right then roofing it top right corner. Third was a one timer in the slot where the pass came from behind the goal line.
She did stone me a few times, but the terrible defence of the Isles still made for a couple of fairly easy goals.

If anybody has read my previous rants in this thread they'll no that she was on the blues in my BAP ... which wouldn't have sucked so badly had I not been on the same team.

has anyone started a BAP career as her?
or can you not do that since she is a FA?

I wonder how the FA situation would work? It would be interesting to see if it could be done.

Just had to bump because I finally just ran into her for the first time, in my 2nd season. She's with the Preds. It was the most one-sided game of the year for me, I outshot em 27-6...I lost 1-0.
I wish I had seen this thread before, I totally would've edited her attributes before I started my franchise. Way too far in to re-start now. At least she's not in my division.
(I'm also glad I googled her and read about why she's in the game before I posted on here, and avoided totally putting my foot in my mouth)

when you do the update her stars are changed and she goes from like 90 to 70, it sucks it's to late now, I did the same thing in my dynasty, she's won MVP and the Vezina every year.

Yet another reason to do the update. I also hear it significantly cuts down on interference, which is good because its just rampant in the game. I can't believe how much the computer uses the "pick and roll" technique, it drives me absolutely nuts when they score off a play like that.
The only reason I haven't done the update yet is cuz I got XBox, and my computer's on the other side of the house from my console so I need the adapter and all that stuff. And I'm too cheap to spend $150 to get it.

I've encountered her

I was curious as to why I couldn't score and it turns out that her rating is 98 overall!
After some research on the internet I discovered that she is a kid that was part of the make a wish foundation and her wish was to be a goalie in NHL 09. Pretty cool that EA did this but kinda sucks losing to her.
Anyone else encounter her yet?

Well I have encountered her..I'm Vancouver and shes in Buffalo... lost to her 3-2 in a shootout..... I got the first three shots in but unfortunately , I lost the game...... But how amazing the playoffs would be against her in the Stanley Cup Finals

I met her in the Stanley Cup finals as the Flames and she was on Buffalo. I won one or two games, and she stole the rest from me. Highest I scored on her was 2 goals. There was something insane like 50 shots, most of which she would suck into her big fat bkue hole of doom, or would ring off the posts. So frustrating.
After that season, I restarted, and shipped her to Europe. I haven't been that frustrated since the final level in Black. Fkkkkkkkkk.

She's with Columbus on mine. I'm 3 seasons into the BAP and I've met her in the cup final twice and the western final once. Thankfully, I managed to beat her each time.
