When I visited Toronto and was driving about, I initially yielded to pedestrians crossing the street as that's what I did here in Calgary. The guy started yelling at me cuz it threw him out of sync. Turns out most people just time their crossing to be after the car passes. It was pretty nice how I could just drive without having to yield to pedestrians after that. I kind of wish pedestrians here would walk smarter and I could do that. But if I tried that here, I'd probably mow down someone.
