I have this happen sometimes at work (Pizza place). The guy will put his money and the women will slap his hand away and give me money, then the guy is like "TAKE IT!!", I usually just take the guy's, considering he usually looks like he can whoop my a$$.

More often though two women, or a family will try and pay, and they will like fight in the middle of our store just to pay. This own lady cussed her friend out because she wanted to pay, then the lady threw the money at me, and I took it. Then the other one cussed me out! I like when people slap/hit each other's hand's/sides/faces/money just to pay.

Edit: On a side note, you need to change your sig...everytime I see it I get distracted by it and watch it like 5 times, and burst out laughing. The guy lights a fire on his crotch and his friends kick him in the balls to put it out. Priceless.

When it's a single line for multiple cashiers, the queue goes this way:

Cashiers -> Customer 1 -> Customer 2 -> Customer 3

You were Customer 3 so Customers 1 and 2 have every right to be served first by the cashiers nomatter if they are a couple or not. They are two individual customers. If there were two seperate lines though, that's a completely different story as that would be rude and wrong to line-jump.
