Of the leagues I have played in the most competitive was the Heritage League. As I got older, had to move to other leagues as it was extremely physical for a non-contact league.
I have also played in Southern Alberta (SASM) and AllCal, but Heritage league was best by far. SASM was more laid back, seemed to be run by a ma & pa group that cared about the teams. Allcal seems to be run by a guy that is in it to make a buck and doesn't care about the quality of play.
