I bet they made up that ridiculous 5 syllable word to describe him just to piss him right off.
At least Drudge said that Carlin was dead, though, and didn't use a soft euphemism like "passed away" or "expired" (unlike the thread title).

[Edit]
Testing to see how many of the seven words you can't say on television make it through CP's profanity filter:
, piss, , , ##########, motherer, tits

[Edit #2]
3.5/7 made it!

"motherer" is not a typo, it was originally written as "motherf---er", but the profanity filter altered it and then let it through :P

RIP Gorgery. Just only recently knew him, but is an obvious classic.

I got to see him last time he was in Edmonton last January I do believe. I knew I had to go cause he was getting up there in years.

If you vote once your a good citizen. If you vote twice you face four years in jail.

RIP george

my favorite line from that bit was "You don't take a sh*t, you leave a sh*t"

his best ever show IMO was when he performed at carnegie hall. here's a youtube link to the first part and the rest is all up there too

favorite bit from that "Richard Pryor had a heart attack, so I had a heart attack. Then Richard set himself on fire and I said '###### that, I'm having another heart attack'"

Jerry Seinfeld wrote a eulogy for George Carlin.

When I saw him in January he did a lot of death jokes.

Like the joy he takes in deleting people from his address book on his computer and cell phone.

I for one will be leaving George in the recycle bin for about a week before deleting him permanently.

George Carlin's final album is released today.

http://sify.com/movies/hollywood/ful...26396&cid=2360

Quote:
"You know what I've been doing? Going through my address book and crossing out the dead people. It gives you a feeling of power, of superiority, to have outlasted another old friend," Carlin says on what turned out to be his final comedy album.
And I found this to be kind of touching:
Quote:
...and at a summer camp in New Hampshire where, as a child, he received a necklace for winning the drama competition. He was wearing it the day he died.
