At least Drudge said that Carlin was dead, though, and didn't use a soft euphemism like "passed away" or "expired" (unlike the thread title).

When I saw him in January he did a lot of death jokes.

Like the joy he takes in deleting people from his address book on his computer and cell phone.

I for one will be leaving George in the recycle bin for about a week before deleting him permanently.
