My husband is at work for approx. 14-16 hours a day in the spring and summer. My point was just that maybe some people are toooo tired! Doesn't mean anyones playing a card or anything that is suggested on here, just that some people work alot, and I know alot of people who's lives are similar to mine. I also know alot of people who have husbands that work away 9 months of the year~just saying I guess there are different reasons some people just can't possibly have sex every night. And believe me, 40 year old men don't need a pill. I bet 40 year old men are gettin lucky alot more than 20 year old men cuz they are married.

Fact is though, I've seen the pillow fights and cocktail parties. Oh yeah. I know whats going on. I'm wise to your game.

Or is that sororities? I cant remember now.
Such an obvious response from a guy, probably without children. This is just my life, and many others lives as well. It's called reality. I don't think you had to be rude about it. The childbirth card? You could give a much nicer and more intelligent response than that I'm sure.

Reminds me of back in the day - 11 or 12 years ago now, some sex therapist wrote a book with 365 different acts a couple could perform. They had this author on the radio (Mix 107 morning show.... that's how long ago this was), and asked for a couple to call in and "volunteer" to try out one page. They didn't actually describe what they were going to do on air, but they had the couple call back after they were done... the guy was just raving.

Seems Amazon should sell these two books as a package deal.

I thought the pillow fight and cocktail party comments clarified that it was a joke. Should I have used green text?

Well they do have two kids so it's likely that she has had a proceedure done to send Flo packing for good. My wife would love to get rid of that monthly set of cramps and migrane headaches that always seem to cause her to miss a day of work. So much so that she wants to have kids. She's already called shotgun on being the one who gets to be fixed.

My time as a divorce lawyer tells me that a significant number of couples are never or rarely having sex. It seems quite common that spouses even have seperate bed rooms.

Every day. Jesus. I don't know how many of you will view me, but I don't know that I'd be able to keep that pace. I'm as sex crazed as the next guy but I really don't know if I could physically do more than 4-5 times a week. The first month would be fun and all, but beyond that I can't say that I'd be very useful.

Blah, the gender wars are so Gen-X.

Any married couple that divides labour/work down gender lines rather then by ability is doomed to failure this day and age. I do find it hilarious that BuzzardsWife left out what "Goes to Work" actually entails, but proceeds to detail the the "woman's day" explicitly, and then tries to imply it's some how "harder". Can't do that and sound even slightly serious. And honestly, all that type of claim does is diminish actual gender inequality issues.

Work loads in a family unit are entirely up to the people involved. There are no preconceived jobs for men and women. The only exception is those dealing with biological functions (men can't breastfeed...).

If I wasn't married already, I think I'd be with the Captain on this one... But my wife is awesome and we are never having kids.

Separate beds? WTF? Were they Germans or something? Pretty hard to saw off a 'morning piece' with different racks, I'd think.
