I went to a house party in Victoria and Nelly Furtado's brother was there trying to live vicariously through his sister's fame. He kept introducing himself by saying; "Hi, I'm Michael Furtado"... like anyone was supposed to care. He quickly became a laughing stock.

I just read her husband left her for their house manager. She was Shania's best friend and the 2 families did everything together, including vacationing together. Mutt and his new woman each left their spouses for each other. They deserve each other. They both look like Mutt's too.

Thursday's celebrity dish - Mutt's well-endowed mistress
May 22, 2008, 3:22 PM
People magazine shows photos of Mutt Lange's alleged Swiss mistress. Gossipers remark on size of her chest and offer Shania Twain a shoulder to cry on.
http://www.people.com/people/article...201677,00.html
Lange told PEOPLE exclusively that an affair was "absolutely not the reason [for the breakup]... It's literally just a growing apart, that's all." He also denied that he was in a relationship with Thiébaud, saying, "It's not true."
Whatever the reason, Twain "is devastated," says the insider. "This came out of left field."

K, I'm confused...We've seen Shania in those videos all dolled up lookin' sexy and all right? Most of us would agree she's a hot little number. So, I see this picture of this dude's mistress and I'm thinkin' to myself..."Why would he leave Shania for her?" Now I now I've heard this story before..."Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder", bla bla bla. Still, I don't get it? Maybe Shania isn't that great to get along with? Someone told me once that they were workin' backstage at a Shania conert at the Saddledome. Supposedly this person was kind of like a stagehand helping out where necessary. They said Shania wasn't friendly at all.

Ugh, the first two albums had a voice and some soul. The third was some over-produced pop pile of crap put together for pre teens and top 40 nigthclub airheads for the express purpose of making money.
More popular yes. Higher selling, yes. Critically acclaimed, not really.
