Huntington's.
Source: Wikipedia
Quote:
Huntington's disease's most obvious symptoms are abnormal body movements called chorea and a lack of coordination, but it also affects a number of mental abilities and some aspects of behavior. Physical symptoms occur in a large range of ages around a mean occurrence of late forties/early fifties, but if they occur before the age of 20 then the condition is known as Juvenile HD. As there is currently no proven cure, symptoms are managed with various medications and supportive services.

Oh man... what an amazing season finale!
I think things are going to be interesting between House and Wilson next season... I hate having to wait for it to start again!
PS: I wonder if they'll finally start to re-explore the House and Cuddy thing...

Great tearjerker. Back to episode one - you can't always get what you want.
But if you try sometimes, you get what you need. I think that means that next season House is going to try a little harder and maybe, just maybe, he'll get what he needs. A little comfort, a little happiness. Closer friends.

That's part of the earlier season arc when House was trying to figure out 13's secret. She has a history of Huntington's in her family and she always refused to take the test because part of her thought that she would give up on life if she ever knew for sure.
Chase and Cameron need to be used in the show some more. I loved the new characters but it feels so unfair to them that they only put in cameos most of this season and they were only looking for excuses to include them in scenes whenever they could. Since when was Chase an expert in neurology as well? Foreman is the neurologist, it should have been him supervising shocking House's brain but it's good to see Chase/Cameron on the show but they need to be used more. Either that or seriously write them out and focus on the new guys until it makes more sense to bring everybody back together.
All an all, a fantastic episode and much better form than the usual cliched TV "cliffhanger" finales. This one was a cliffhanger in the way that it was so moving and you want to keep watching not to see how a cliffhanger is resolved but just because you want to see more of these people.

It was a night of amazing finales tonight, house was exceptional, but I still have trouble getting into it.
Bones was probably one of the best finales that I've seen in a long long time. It had a cruel start, and an amazing twist ending that I didn't see coming.

I have not watched Bones at all since it began, is it seriously a good show? I had the impression it was another C.S.I. clone with the guy from Angel mixed in with some elements of House.

I gave up on CSI a long time ago because the characters were pretty cold. The characters in Bones are very human, the plot lines and characters are very good and its well written. Like I mentioned the episode tonight was a huge shock to me on a number of levels, but I'm a big fan of it.
I think its one of the smarter shows out there.

is it illegal to download TV shows you already pay for through your cable?

Hell you don't even pay for House, you get it free over the airwaves on Channel 7 (or 2 if you are so ghetto you are going antenna). Basically think of it like...is it illegal to copy a CD when you can hear the song for free on the radio?
Don't worry about even torrenting, all the streaming sites will have it up soon.

I am not sure the laws, so I don't want to make any comments other than I use torrents from time to time when I miss an episode of a show I watch.
I really hope they do explore the House-Cuddy thing, since the show, IMO, needs some more happy to it. Lately it's all just depressing, so let's add some happy. I also hope they use this finale as a springboard for House and Wilson to become closer friends- ie/ House tries but Wilson pushes him back, kinda the reverse of the typical dynamic they seem to have. I also think that 13, and Chase will be leaving the show eventually. So that will reduce the extra characters a little bit.

Ok, so Bittorrent worked beautifully, and I just watched it!
Wow! House hardly shows any emotion at all, so to see him crying was amazing. Also, it will be interesting to see where House and Wilson's friendship heads.
That was powerful.

Wow. Tonight's episode was pretty unsettling. I could feel my blood pressure rise when House was attempting surgery on himself!
House this season has become a much darker show, with few laughs and I honestly find it to be a bit tiring. I know the series can't always be the same, and that there must be problems for characters, etc. for the show to progress, but tonight was too over-the-top, in my opinion.
My Mom commented that she misses Masters on the show. David Shore (creator of House) said that he thought the character would have worked well going forward, but the actress had other priorities.
I'm inclined to agree. Thirteen's edginess is awesome at times, unnerving at others. Masters would have been a good foil.
Also, anyone see a relationship between Chase and Thirteen forming? Hmm, that could be interesting.
What were your thoughts, CP House fans???

Wow. I guess the show jumps the shark now? I'm surprised Hugh Laurie doesn't try to wrap up the show with a decent conclusion now.
