Make sure you're on the international edition... It's one of the videos in the top right hand corner. It's not the cover story... but still on the front page!

They also had that video of that semi truck blowing up in Edmonton a couple weeks back.

Alberta is making an impact!

Ok, I apologize if that was too far, I just know he has a good sense of humour and doesn't take things to seriously.

What? Are you guys serious? There are many militant animal groups that will harm zoos INCLUDING their animals as a protest thinking they are doing the greater good by saving many that aren't part of zoos yet.

It's happened many times in the past. If you haven't heard of this, look it up.

They believe by showing the zoos as to be a dangerous place for animals, they might save more in the future.

It's not like rays are endangered. (Not my thinking, but suggesting a thought path)

PETA does not kill adoptable animals. I am glad you believe the Center for Consumer Freedom which is a front agency for Phillip Morris, KFC, Cattle Ranchers and a lot of others who profit from the killing of animals for food. PETA generally ignores the CCF's claims because it doesn't want to give them any publicity. PETA is pretty good at the whole shock marketing and knows that if they ignore the CCF than most the crap is spews would be ignored.

Another stingray died last night.

Toxins cited in death:

http://calsun.canoe.ca/News/Alberta/...60276-sun.html

Another stingray has died at the Calgary Zoo, whose officials say visitor tampering doesn't appear to have led to the deaths of the 35 creatures.

An analysis shows the water was chemically normal, though toxicity tests have yet to be completed and could take two months to come back.

"Some toxin got into the water, it's just how it happened," she said.

"The most likely thing is something put in the water by accident, something got spilled ... something leeching into the water doesn't seem likely, but we're not ruling anything out."

It made me think that Penn and Teller's other episodes were probably the result of such shoddy research. I can post a hundred websites and newspaper articles discussing how bad the Center for Consumer Freedom is from reputable sources. I guess if you agree with them about how bad PETA is than you also agree with them that Drunk driving isn't a problem and that obesity is no big deal. Funny how all 3 of those things directly affect the revenue of the companies propping this organization up.... They are also against unions, minimum wages and food safety ordinances.

so you might want to put quotes around "truths".

Sourcewatch is a fairly reputable organization that looks at nonprofits orgs. They take a look at funding of the nonprofits and also don't give a glowing review of PETA. Also if you look at the other site they link to actual articles from sources such as the Washington Post that decry Rick Berman.

You should actually read more articles from sourcewatch before decrying it as having an agenda or you could just assume they are bias because that's the best way to not have to make a valid point. They do lean to the left but they aren't funded by anyone who is making money off their content.

What is the point of poisoning them? That is pretty ######ed imo.
