I look North out my window (near Chinook) and all I see is this mass of rotating dark gray cloud...

We just had a 30 second HALESTORM in Bankview. Some of the pieces were marble sized. The hail has stopped as quickly as it started. So awesome. I hope it absolutely pisses rain tonight.

There is a good amount of validity in 4x4's post . . . this activity is filling me with hope that this summer we might actually not see fire bans as early as we did last year. Not sure if that's worth 20 cm of snow in May, but doesn't look like we have a choice in the matter.

edit: rain/sleet MADNESS at the UofC.

Whoa, the NE section of the storm just grew big time, if that moves west (which is looks like it will) the drive home could be pretty interesting.

I think the SE is the last part of the city to get smoked...still nothing here, other than those scary looking clouds crawling on top of us.

Let me know when you need to sand-bag the house. The Hill People will come down to assist the low-landers.

If they're near you, you're already dead.
