In light of Audioslave's breakup I gather Rage has reformed. Not sure if they are touring. In light of Zeppelin's recent concert in London I am hoping beyond hope that they reform for a North american tour.
Well, the band did not disband, but I wish Anneke van Giersbergen would re-join the band. She is the best female rock singer in the world as far as I am concerned.
I used to really like Blink, but after the farce that was Angels & Airwaves I just cant deal with them anymore.
I never took blink seriously, but now they'd be a complete joke.
Angels & Airwaves was just Tom Delong. If you read one of his interviews about the band you'll probably puke. It's pretty obvious that Blink broke up because his ego didn't leave room for anyone else in the studio.
Travis Barker and Mark Hoppus went on to form +44 which is actually not too bad at all.
Heard they have a new lead singer also MJK sang on a califoria concert - but that was at least 2 years ago.
AIC has been touring with Will Duvall from Comes With The Fall on vocals. I'm not sure if any new material is in the future but I would imagine if they do that it will be a 3 man project with Jerry singing. Layne is just one of those guys you can't replace.
Duvall, by most reports, does a great job of respecting Layne's legacy and style when singing the AIC tunes. Seems like a really good guy too.
Alice with Will Duvall doing one of the many AIC songs that is just as good as any of their radio hits.
Duvall with Comes With The Fall
Layne and Alice at their finest (sans the presence of Mike Starr who is half the bassist Mike Inez is) performing one of, if not the best Alice tunes. I saw them live a short time later in Hollywood, CA. I hold that night in a special place because they didn't play a whole hell of a lot of shows for a band as big as they were. This clip is from the Moore Theater in Seattle...someday I will see a show there.

Oh, and if you're a fan of Alice In Chains and you don't have Jerry's solo records, do yourself a favor and pick them up. Good stuff.

I'd put out a call for The Doors to reunite for a cash-grab tour using an impostor frontman.
Whaddya mean, that already happened?
I'd say Blur but Damon Albarn has done a nice job with his many side projects and since the last Blur album was pretty much a Damon Albarn album I can't say I've really noticed.

+44, musically was okay. But I read an article from them too and they take themselves way too seriously too.
I've read both articles, and I actually threw up a little in my mouth.
Their petty bickering actually sours my memories of Blink a little.

If you thought this season would have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.
Jerry kinda pours it all out on that one doesn't he? I like Robert Trujillo a lot and he played bass on it along with the drummer from Faith No More whose name escapes me at the moment.
