The point was that it is a well known fact that this is part of the Catholic doctrine. I guess I didn't explicitly state this, but I think in the context of Jesus telling Peter that his Old Man would honour any agreements he makes, that it should be pretty clear that it is fact as far as a religous doctrine in concerned.
