I just got back from Vegas a couple weeks ago, and thats 1 thing that really surprised me too. There seemed to be lots of hockey highlights, jerseys, and people talking about hockey. I wonder if thats a product of heavy canadian tourism down there.

And it is a betting town. They like all sports.

My previous time down there a stripper was telling me all about her betting strategies for hockey. Obviously I was not sober so I don't really recall, but I think it had something to do with picking the home team for sunday games because she felt that teams would be tired at the end of the week and so the travelling team would be a bit more run down.

She was a cutey.

I was in Vegas the week before and returning home the day before Grey Cup. I had my Flames hat on the last couple of days, and I had a couple dozen people come up to me asking me if I knew where they could watch the Grey Cup in Vegas. Every last one of them assumed that they would have a hard time watching it because it was Canadian and they were in the US.

I've never had a problem watching a hockey game in Vegas, just go to the SportsBet at any casino and they'll put it on a TV for you. I would imagine the CFL isn't any different.

^ Yeah, i was shocked to see CFL playoffs (the Semi-finals!) on one of the big screens at The Wynn (of all places) this past year.

Obviously if CFL gets the occassional screen time then Hockey gets its fair share.
