Nice, finally got through, and my HD-DVD turned into a laptop...
I couldn't even check out with it either. Now back to "processing your request".

I wish there were stock in Alberta for that Panny TH50PX60... anybody in BC, for $1200 that's a fantastic deal.
I assume because there's no stock in Alberta, I can't order any?

Thank you for visiting futureshop.ca. We’re sorry, but due to much larger than anticipated traffic to our site, we are unable to accept more customers on the site at this moment. You’re currently in a queue to access the site and should be able to shop in just a few minutes. In the meantime, feel free to check out our Boxing Day flyer and web-only Boxing Day flyer by entering your postal code below.

LOL, after being in the queue to complete my order, now I'm in the queue to access the site.

Lets look at this another way...has anybody been able to complete their order?
I'm just looking for a glimmer of hope at this point...

The last best price for a Toshiba HD DVD player I think was the HD-A2 (which I was able to get) for $179, so this is quite a bit better of a price.

Judging from the thread on RFD, I don't think so.. someone called in and managed to talk to someone and they said they're not taking orders over the phone, they don't know if anyone's been able to complete an order, and they're working on fixing it.
I know this kind of thing is difficult, but it's definitely not impossible.
