For me getting in the christmas spirit is putting up the christmas lights, Christmas Vacation (best christmas movie ever) wearing sweaters, and believe it or not Peppermint Mocha's from Starbucks

Its staggeringly sub-par reputation is legendary. I heard its hilariously awful.

Something like a cross between Snakes on a Plane/Deep Blue Sea and a train wreck.

Have a look at my youtube link. I made it to minute 4 before wanting to email George Lucas and ask him how BC bud was back in those days.

Hey you are a person after my own heart! One of my favourite things.
Actually yesterday I was home all day due to the bad weather, so I put on a pot of coffee and had a couple of these.
It's best on Christmas morning!!!

That goes well in Hot Chocolate too.

Scrooge.

"Bah...humbug" is the single most captivating Christmas phrase of the 20th century.

That, and any carol performed by the Jingle Cats... God bless them.

I've been on a major tea kick this year. I practically stopped drinking coffee. I have yet to try the baileys in tea yet.
But last year in Italy I was hooked on espresso (cafe to them) because it was all you could get at coffee shops. When I got home I bought one of those stove top espresso makers. I've been using that to get my caffiene/baileys fix all weekend. This morning I had another.

For me the movie that does it is Scrooged with Bill Murray.

I'm also into last minute shopping. However being 2 provinces over from my family mean I have to shop with enough time to ship, but I still try to do it all in one day. Love the rush.

Sounds good.

As for the tea, I really like tea as well, but somehow just don't think the Baileys would suit the tea. I mostly drink green tea now and have it with nothing in it.

Actually its so bad that its a shockingly good comedy.

The website Wrestlecrap did a review on it thats quite funny

http://www.wrestlecrap.com/classic2.html

The only good thing that came out of it, is that it introduced Star Wars to Boba Fett in a animated short.

And it is quite funny to see the main characters from star Wars with really wooden uncomfortable looks on their face (except for Carrie Fisher who looks like she snorted all of Bolivia) as they stumbled through this mess.

Good call! I love Baileys in my coffee. Although I have been known to drink it all through the year... not just Christmas time!

Things that get me in the Christmas spirit are snow, seeing all the houses lit up with Christmas lights at night, going skating, Christmas shopping, and... advent calenders! I'm in France right now and they have AMAZING advent calenders with big tasty chocolates, none of that thin waxy crap we get at home.

What got me in the Christmas spirit yesterday was my wife and I watching a favorite movie of ours: Love Actually. It is British, and is a great romantic comedy that takes place during the frantic Christmas season in London. I highly recommend it, especially if you can watch it with someone special in your life.

This is so lame. My bottle of Baileys is officially empty. What time does the liquor store open?
