Moon: As for Looger, no doubt his conspiracy theories and crazy ideas were out there, but almost every thread I read with him involved had him giving very decent support for his views. Not saying he was right, but IMO he did make some sense.

I had thought he supported his views and opinions with facts and links that you could check for yourself. Everything else was afforded an explanation that allowed one to think "what if?" Different angles on any subject, whenever possible, are sometimes a good thing. Open-mind if you will

Great idea.

Perhaps something like the 'penalty box' for a temporary ban....and the 'sin bin' for someone who is banned forever.

I've had a few, but this should be said, Looger needs to return. This individual has provided a different view on so many topics that it is worth my response. C'mon people, step up. How many have met him personally? Has he threatened you? I know him personally and he is an extremely intelligent individual that DESERVES a chance here. I guess this means I get put in the sinbin.

I think some of us have been here long enough to realize that the mods do not ban someone because they don't like their viewpoint.

He obviously had a run in with someone, and it got nasty.

Or Jiri stole his lunch money and Looger beat him up for it....and in the aftermath Jiri banned him because, well Jiri 'is the law.'

It's a cyber-environment...if your offended by what goes on here and have no counter opinion with fact, experience, discussion, humor or link otherwise, what are you doing here? This is a place to exchange ideas and opinions...nothing more.

I disagree with some of the views here, but due to lack of research and knowledge, I choose to not reply...is that wrong? So what is wrong with going off on some tangent that may seem in left field to some? Is it wrong too? I'm sure some may have been offended and annoyed, so what, it happens. You can't make everyone happy.

At the end of the day, If you didn't like the views posted here, you can put your feet up and bitch but go to bed and know that you will awake in the morning and more than likely forget about what was said anyhow.

Well, one of the things we do not do here is make public the details of any sort of disciplinary actions; be it reputation, infractions, or bans. So the bottom line here is we aren't going to respond to the above; because in order to do that we would have to tell you "No, he got banned for doing XXXX and YYYY."

The one thing I will say as a generalization; is that we usually give any member several warnings before we resort to prema banning them. And unless you are looger himself (which I hope not as that is against the rules) then you likely don't have all the details.

I was told by Looger that he could not log back in. I have no details from this site or Mods as to why this is not possible. As I said, I know him...damn good s**t.
