For the event to be worthwhile, I imagine those numbers would have to be the case. And with that being the case, my interest in attending would be small. I sat in Row 2 for the Raiders home opener for $100US. Paying more than that for the upper deck a mile away from the field (yeah, the track and the size of the CFL field is a factor) just doesn't make sense for me. Actually, I think being at home listening to what the American announcers have to say about the spectacle would be interesting enough anyway!
Add to that the fact that a Raider game meant a weekend in San Francisco, which beats a weekend in Edmonton 100 times out of 100. Although a weekend in Oakland probably only beats a weekend in Edmonton 90 times out of 100.
