The effect would be disastrous.

I was referring to the fallout from the radiation though.

I don't know if I would go as far to say that Israel is pacifist either...That being said, I agree they have nothing to gain from a nuclear strike. Say what you want about their policies, Israel's leaders are largely educated people who would not use a nuclear strike hastily.
