Well unfortunately I can't make the live draft as I am going to the Hurricanes season opener tonight, but I did prerank and hopefully the team doesnt turn out too messed up.

well to keep things fair after the draft i can set the waiver order, so if people get screwed over by the computer selections i can move them to a higher waiver selection to balance things out....
ya this should be fun!

I like my team - I'm centre-heavy but I pretty much went with the BPA at every spot unless I was desperate for a particular position.

well if they don't they won't be welcomed back. I've got plans for this i'll start posting stuff soon, but if you a hockey fan and like pools this will be something you don't wanna burn your bridges on......
I let teh guys know of some stuff i have in the works and they seem quite happy with it.. stayed tuned!

I pre-ranked my team, but I still wonder at some of the later picks--who are those guys?
I'm hoping for breakout seasons by a couple of guys now--but my own end of the rink should be strong with Kipper & Phaneuf.

my goalies are terrible as well. my best goalie is johnathon bernier, hope he stays around this season. other than that my team is decent, gonna need a bit of luck to contend but that what comes with preranking i guess. also, im very center heavy, hopefully someone is looking for centers.

So sorry I wasn't there for the draft guys. I tried, but couldn't connect to my wireless and then the broadband stopped working all together. I have been dying to see what my team looks like all weekend.
I preranked my team (for the most part) but as expected I got a lot of auto picks that I certainly wouldn't have picked myself if I had been there (Such as Dan "Purple Turtle" Turple--who?).
Pleased to have gotten Marty Brodeur in the first round, and hopefully Vanek and Roy and maintain the magic in Buffalo without Drury and Briere. Selanne will probably be a bum pick but if he comes back and plays like he did last year, it would be a great help.
But for the most part, I don't really forsee myself winning with this team. Hopefully I can tweak it a bit through some trades.
