thanks alot for this ... i left a company I had been with for 16 years and took the summer off.
started looking for a new job in early august, thought it would be a snap with all my contacts and experiance.
its sep 21 today, and i am still not working. the earliest i can see one of the jobs i am negotiating for starting is mid October.
ugh. i thought it would be easier.
my wife reminded me though, one day I will be working and this will be forgotten. i dont have cancer or something else life threatining and that helps me put it in perspective.
