It's not bad, but it is in desperate need of a citris flavor addition. Otherwise it just tastes incomplete. I recommend a spash of real lime juice. Not much though. Whatever you do, don't put a lemon in it. Why do people put lemon in their beer?

Put in an orange slice... trust me, it tastes awesome!

WARNING!!!
To those that have grain allergies / mild asthma, drinking a Rickards White could cause you to have an asthma attack.
I'm not sure if it's the 'unfiltered' part of it, or what, but an hour to hour and a half after drinking one (didn't like the taste either, btw) I started to wheeze something fierce. I hadn't had an instance like that in a few years, so it shocked me.
Your mileage may vary, but if you have allergies, be careful.

It must be allergy related, I have asthma and have had Rickard's White, Hoegaarden and other unfiltered beers numerous times with no incident.
I finally tried Rickards White, and I must say, it was quite good. I didn't think it was better than Hoegaarden though. However, because of the fact that its cheaper than Hoe at the bars, and likely much cheaper as a 12 pack when its released, I'll probably be drinking a lot of it.

Are you sure it's a grain allergy? Usually a beer is filtered to remove excess yeast so you may have reacted more to the yeast content. I'd be interested to know though as I'm under investigation for some grain allergies. That said, I've never had an issue with any beer so far.

I associated the unfiltered with grain, but you're right it could be the yeast. I've never been tested for allergies, so have no real idea what it is. The last time I had that kind of reaction is when I was helping family in Saskatchewan harvest Barley... so automatically (and possibly incorrectly) made that link.
I've never had an issue with a beer either, but will be more careful from here on.
